Fitness
In my years before high school, I played basketball, soccer, tennis, softball, and ran track. Basketball was always by far my favorite sport. I played basketball in the offseason in Chillicothe.
At the end of my 8th-grade year, I tore my ACL at a basketball tournament at Wittenburg University. I had surgery in June that summer at Beacon Orthopedics in Cincinnati. I went to physical therapy for 10 months and then began to play basketball again.
Three months after my release I tore my contralateral ACL. A month later I had surgery and found that I also had a torn meniscus.
After about another year in physical therapy, I made the decision to give up my basketball career and focus on volleyball. I also decided to join a local gym.

MY ATHLETICS JOURNEY
MY CROSSFIT JOURNEY
I joined Dreamboat Fitness in Lucasville, Ohio, in June of 2019. I attend Dreamfit, which is their CrossFit class. It did not take me long to fall in love with fitness, all while making friendships along the way.
Dreamboat hosts a yearly CrossFit competition called Fitness in the Valley. This year I was asked to compete only three days prior to the competition! I decided it would be a great experience, so I agreed. the competition was cannonball style with three main events and a fourth event for the top three teams. To my surprise, my team made it to the final event and we finished third overall. I was the only high school student that made it all the way to the finals.
